Developing Online Tools For Small Businesses on Whidbey Island

Are you a small business on Whidbey Island? That's awesome, so am I! Do you need a website or other online tools? That's what I do. Let's work together to make your project a success.

Let's Discuss Your Project

Who You Are

You are a hungry local business looking to crush it, but you need a little help with your online presence. Maybe you have a FaceBook Business Page, but are looking to grow into something more. There are options out there to get this done on your own, but you just don't have the time to learn these platforms. Your expertise lies with other skills that pay the bills, so you need some help.

Where I Step In

I've been working in the technology sector for the past 14 years. I have what it takes to roll up my sleeves and get dirty in the technical side of your business needs. I am a Whidbey Island local, so I have skin in the game for your businesses success. I very well may be shopping your store, or using your services, so yah, I care. Your success is my success.

What I Can Do

I have worked with many technologies over the years and don't like to box myself in a corner with what tools to use. Your business is unique, and there isn't a one size fits all solution. I will dig deep in my toolbox to build you a solution that meets YOUR needs, and doesn't cater to my own ego. With that said, here is the list of technologies that I work with.

  • HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • PHP
  • Webflow
  • Hugo
  • WordPress
  • Statamic
  • Server Administration

Who Am I?

So who am I for real? My name's Dale Pollitt, and I'm one of you! I live in Oak Harbor, and have been here since 2005. I moved here through the Navy, like so many of us have. I came here as an active duty member of the US Navy. I got out and ended up retiring as a Navy Reservist. I started working professionally in IT in 2008 and have been doing that work ever since 2009. I am currently an employee providing IT services for US Customs and Border Protection. I've learned many facets of technology over the years. On top of all the professional work, I managed to earn a BS from City University in Computer Systems, and a Masters of Science in Computer Science from Dakota State University. I wanted to start my own business, so decided to use some of my skills to help other small business in my community that require some help with their digital needs.
